Digital Product Passport: Information and Advertising
Connect your physical products to their digital source of information and open up a new customer channel.
Why do products need a digital product passport?
The digital product passport is part of a new EU-wide package of measures to promote the circular economy for a more sustainable use of resources through reuse and waste prevention. From 2027, the "digital label" will be mandatory for companies in the EU.
With a digital product passport (DPP), comprehensive information about a product from its manufacture to disposal is summarized and processed centrally. The digital product passport thus contains information on optimal use, the materials used and the composition like a digital label. In addition, the passport also contains information on how to repair or recycle a product.
In addition to the benefits for transparency and sustainability, the digital product passport can also be used as an ideal hub for increasing efficiency throughout the supply chain. If the Supply Chain Act applies to your company, then you can score twice as much in the implementation and at the same time reduce your investment costs.
